Australian Literature
A Bibliography to 1954
This page is regularly updated with links to Australian
novels, poetry, biography, 'Federation' texts, short stories and other
works by authors from Australia or who wrote about Australia. [Note: Not
all of the works listed may relate to Australia. It is intended to provide
a comprehensive bibliography for each author listed]
A bibliography of, and links to, free ebooks covering Australian literature
and poetry by authors who died before 1955. Authors who were born in Australia;
who lived in Australia; who wrote about Australia; and/or who had a connection
(sometimes tenuous) with Australia. We will occasionally list authors
who died after 1954, but will not be able to link to their work as it
is still copyright in Australia .Let us know if you have any names to
add, or any works which we do not list for an author.

An American Angler in Australia (1937). Zane
Grey chases Marlin off Batemans Bay, on the New south Wales South Coast. However,
there is more to this book which includes interesting descriptions of Australian

Tales of the Angler's Eldorado, New Zealand

This book helped establish New Zealand as a world-famous area for big-game fishing.
Zane Gey's Western Magazine
